We started our company because we are passionate about decluttering, moving and organizing. We love working with people and wanted to make a difference. We felt we could fulfill a niche and still do something we love. Our company is family owned and operated. Our Team will satisfy our clients with commitment, dedication, hard work, humour and integrity. As part of our commitment to integrity, we have our staff bonded with an extra “Vulnerable Sector” check to ensure your comfort with our reliability.

The Next Step Forward supports at-risk, homeless and trafficked youth at Covenant House Toronto by making a donation every time we book a job!

Clare Platt

Clare Platt | CEO

Clare has worked in the IT world for almost 30 years where she obtained her Masters Certification in Project Management. When making the transition to this new career, she became a certified Coaching Practitioner where she developed strategies to help guide people through the transition of moving and downsizing. Clare is expert in managing large and small projects and has specialized in coaching and mentoring during her career. Clare brings her love of people and organizing to the role of CEO for The Next step Forward - with humour, compassion and a love of puzzles. Clare is committed to bringing functionality, organization and a can-do attitude to any space – big or small, she’s done it all.

Corrie McCready

Corrie McCready

Corrie’s compassion & gentle demeanour are a huge asset to The Next Step Forward. She is expert at decluttering and packing and brings a sense of humour and calm to each TNSF project. Corrie majored in English and History in university and has her sights on more Education in the future. A fantastic addition to the team!

Hazel Loptson

Hazel Loptson

Hazel has a BA in HR Management and her career has mainly specialized in training, coaching and management. Hazel’s logical, empathetic approach and love of decluttering, organizing and packing makes her a wonderful addition to the team. Hazel’s positive, caring nature and fresh perspective brings focus and energy to The Next Step Forward. We are pleased to have her aboard!
